Hey Mom, Dad, and Reagan, I miss y'all so much. We’ve been super busy today but I haven't gotten seasick. I’m having a lot of fun but I miss yall. Tell Coach Shea that I’m still alive and I hope the team did amazing. <3 <3

Campbell, B Watch

Hi Mom and Dad, I love and miss yall but I’m having a great time so far! Watch Group B has been super busy, but I got to do the helm (“steer the boat”)! I have not thrown up, and I did get sunburnt! Everything is great and I'm learning so much! Love <3, Mads

Morning report from Captain Flansburg: Breakfast was particularly good this morning. The motor has been off for about 36 hours, which means there’s enough wind to sail well! They may have to turn the engines on again soon, unfortunately, as the weather predicts that wind is going to go light overnight tonight and then build from the west.

I’m currently on our 2000-0000 watch, it’s been a rough and rowdy day. Mattie is winning the throw up count with about 50. I have felt sick most of the time but have yet to throw up. I enjoyed going out on the head rig this afternoon - it was really peaceful. C Watch is for sure known as puke watch. But I think we are all starting to get used to the seas. Perrin is keeping me alive because she keeps making me laugh. Anyways, tomorrow is going to be great!

Audrey, C Watch

Hi Mom and Dad! I am finally recovering from my intense motion sickness. Since we left, I’ve thrown up a little over 50 times. I think I am getting better, but we’ll see. Can’t wait to see y'all soon. I’ve learned a couple of knots and we saw whales two days ago! Goodbye!

Mattie, C Watch

Hi Mom and Dad, so far our OLP voyage has definitely been an eventful one!! I’ve only thrown up 6 times (less than I thought) and other than a couple of rough nights, I’ve been having a lot of fun!! Today the weather was so beautiful and we caught a mahi-mahi that we will hopefully get to eat! The ocean is the prettiest shade of blue, and we watched a very vibrant sunset this evening!! Anyways, I miss y’all!! Hopefully tomorrow will be even better ! <3

Elizabeth, A Watch

Hi Mom and Dad! Today I finally recovered from my traumatic seasickness. Except now I have Kylie Jenner lips from being sunburnt. My favorite part of today was passing by the DR as the sun was setting. I’m learning so much and having fun. Love,

Today our AH girls rallied back into giggles and laughter. Their sea legs are getting stronger. To my children and grandchildren, the gift is risk-taking under the same moon you are looking at tonight. Shalom, Meme

Hi Mom, Dad and Colin! The trip has been really good so far! I’m one of only a few that have not thrown up, and I think you’ll be happy to hear that I haven’t felt super seasick. All that time on Buddy Rowe prepared me for this. Today we had a super early watch from 0000-0400. I learned how to do a boat check and got to point out some stars. I also stood on top of the chart house today and tied up a sail all by myself! I also plotted our navigation completely by myself today! We also saw two whales the other day!! I love and miss y’all!

Clara, A Watch

Hey Mom and Dad! It’s currently 2227 as I am writing this and I am on watch. I did throw up 5 times, but I haven’t felt too nauseous the past day or two. I’ve been learning a lot and I’m excited to put my new knowledge to use on Chaos. See y'all in a week (ish)! Also tell Hannah hi and give Ollie extra pets and treats from me!

Kennedy, A Watch

Morning report from Captain Flansburg: Students' seasickness is waning and the ship is back to motor sailing, probably for the next 36 hours.
