Hey Madre + Padre! I’m on watch and it is currently 2320! We just changed the several sails and put our blood, sweat, tears and laughs into pulling these thick rough ropes. I have learned so, so much and can't wait to see y'all soon! <3 <3

Bellow!! I’m 28 minutes away from being off my 0800-0000 watch and couldn't be happier! We’ve had 3 four-hour watches, and the one I’m on right now, we just had a major storm. My boots are soaked and my hair is insane. I’m having so much fun and learning so much! Love y’all!

Hi! Today was a great day. Last night’s watch was rough because of the seas, and I got sick again. Only for the 37th time! Today we chilled on deck and talked, journaled, and napped. That is the best part. This watch is actually going by very quickly, and I will be able to sleep from 0000-0730. I miss y'all so much, and I’m counting down the days until I see you. Love,

Hey, right now it is currently 2123 (I know, look at me go with the military time) and we get off watch at 0000, which means 7 ½ hours of sleep consecutively. Yay! Watches consist of steering the helm (my fav), navigation, bow watch, and being on standby where you do boat checks and learn about tall ship techniques, knots, coils, sails, lines and more. Today was the best day for me because I went aloft, was told by the captain I’m a great helmsman, and I didn’t feel sick once! After 27 yacks later, I’m really enjoying my watches as well as napping on deck and talking with everyone. Miss everyone so much, can’t wait to drink cold water soon. Love,

Hi fam!! :) I’m currently starting my 2000-0000 watch. I’m very tired and feel kinda crusty, but I’m having so much fun! I get to see Usher every time I check the bilge on the quarterdeck! He always performs so well. We’re nearing Miami, which is exciting but I’ll be sad for OLP to end. Love and miss y'all!!
