Culebra, Puerto Rico

3/19/25

Today we woke up at 6:30 and started our 3rd day on the Denis Sullivan. When we rose from bed we were greeted by 5 beautiful dolphins jumping in the water. After seeing the dolphins our class gathered around the crew to get instructions on what task we were acomplishing first. We were spilt into groups by the crew. First group helped put up the anchor. During pulling up the anchor some hardships we faced were, the heavy chain which was very dry, it also took a while to pull up the anchor, it was very hot. We ate sweet potato hash for breakfast, Mac and cheese for lunch, and spaghetti and meat balls for dinner. After our chores we journeyed to Flanmenco Beach. We saw tanks on the beach, big waves, and played volleyball. We also played football and soccer.
