Cortez
Today we went from the Isle of Shoals all the way to Casco Bay in Maine where you wanted me to go grandma. Maine is just water and lobster traps, its really boring but I love sailing this wonderful schooner. Of course my hand hurt and we caught lots of fish. Swimming is a SCAM, you can float so easily. We sailed 50 nautical miles today. It’s really fun to sail and I'm really progressing a lot more than I thought. The food is good too. We saw dolphins and porpoises and don't forget the seals. And we saw seagulls with no necks, I bet they tasted good. Bye bye.
Bodhi Kai
Today was our longest sailing day. We got going pretty quickly and during the passage to Casco Bay we met some heavy fog and experienced rougher seas than the past few days, which made me a little queasy. I felt better once we arrived and, after we anchored, we did a swim check before dinner. Love you mom, I'm having a lot of fun! P.S. New England water is VERY COLD.
Deja
Today we went sailing and I had so much fun and I made lemonade with Jake (the cook) and learned a lot of new things. My fav meals were apple cake and lemon tea cake.
Leah
Today we had to do chores then once we were done we went sailing. As well as trying to do a swim test to go swimming without a life jacket, overall today was mid.
Aiden
Today we had the longest trip which was from the Island of Shoals. We learned about navigation which was really cool. My brain is fried currently so that's all.
