Senior Summer Ambassador 2022: Day 4

Plymouth Bay, MA USA

Log Entry by C Watch (Charlie “Horse” Jennings, Felix “Whale-of-a-time” Kreis, AJ “WO” Learned, Cayden “Bone” Marrow, Holland “Squeegee” Catherine “Coney Island” Baum and last but best Andrew “This Guy” Sanchez)

Monday, August 1, 2022

After a light drizzle of rain from the skies and delightful chores to start our month of August, the sky cleared up and we were transported to the beach via small boat. This beach was the very tip of Cape Cod in Provincetown. Our beach experience commenced with immediately being greeted by seals just around thirty feet off the shore. Many of us decided to walk around the beach, collect seashells and sand dollars, and explore the creepy lighthouse. Finally, people decided to wade in the water and after a few splash fights, everybody was fully wet and swimming; the seals soon followed again. Many were swimming when just about twenty feet from them, seals decided to say hello. Our beach day finally concluded after the tide came in and everybody’s towels nearly got drenched. We returned to the boat and after an amazing lunch from Jake consisting of peanut sauce noodles, we started our sail off the hook which means sailing without a motor when the anchor comes up. With great wind, we were underway for Warren Cove. We finally reached it after a dinner of cheeseburgers. After chores and evening muster, we played a game of “Mafia”. Mafia is a game where a person is chosen to eliminate other people and an angel is chosen to save someone while others have to decide who the mafia is. After another successful squid fishing time, we all were exhausted and our day concluded.
