Junior Summer Ambassador 2022: Day 5

We woke up at 7 and started sailing pretty early. We only set the fore and jumbo sail. The water was a little bit rough and it was cold. Then, for breakfast, we had sausages and potatoes. When we were almost there we had 2 drills, a fire drill and then an abandoned ship drill. We arrived in New Bedford, MA at around 15:00. After that, we went back onto shore and went to the New Bedford Fishing & Heritage Museum. We learned about the New Bedford fishing history and then we had a gumby suit race. Before we left everyone got a chance to waste their money at the gift shop. We all started to head back at around 17:15 PM. When we got back we had dinner. It was dino chicken nuggets, cheese fries and salad. After dinner we had a spooky night with Aurora, we all listened to some cool scary stories and played scary games. We then got ready for bed and went to sleep at the same time as always. For night watch we got to eat brownies and for some people it was pouring.
