February was a very full month of programming for the Denis Sullivan. Partner schools included more 5th and 6th grade classes from Alfredo Andrews, Claude O'Markoe, and the entire 6th grade class from Ricardo Richards. The boat hosted students in both morning and afternoon sessions on every school day that month! Students braved strong winds and large waves to experience a day-in-the-life of a sailor. Activities included trust-building games, setting the sails, learning how to coil down lines to clean the deck, and challenging themselves by climbing out on the bowsprit.
