Since being on the Denis Sullivan, I have experienced feeling motion sick, dizzy, and the sensation of rocking back-and-forth. Waking up on the boat to Adam's morning wake up call and hearing the waves and water lick the side of the boat. As the boat gets underway, the crew and students haul away to raise the sails. The communication and teamwork I heard and saw give me the feeling that I’m a part of a team. The sensational sounds and feelings unique to the Denis Sullivan would definitely have to be the callbacks the crew and students make as well as the songs sung at the Swizzle. In my eyes all the sailboats I’ve been on are all unique and especially this one. The Denis Sullivan is a one of a kind tall ship.
