From December 2022 through April 2023, World Ocean School and the Denis Sullivan host hundreds of students from various schools throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands on board. Students are able to learn more about the ocean as well as basic maritime skills, such as how to tie knots, how to raise the sails, how to navigate, and more. The St. Croix public is also welcome on multiple weekly sunset sails, and World Ocean School is able to show off Denis Sullivan as part of the fleet for the first time.

In early April, Denis Sullivan departs St. Croix to head and prepare for her first Boston season.
