Our Last 2023 St. Croix Sails

We marked the end of World Ocean School’s incredible St Croix season with two eventful sails on Denis Sullivan this weekend! On the first sail, the crew welcomed back students from various partner schools across the island. This was a chance for students who had participated in our programming to come back with their friends and families to share a little bit of their experience. Families got an eventful afternoon of sailing in 20-knot winds and 5-7 foot seas! Students showed their parents how to haul up sails, coil down lines, and find their sea legs.

The final sail was open to the public - our last chance to say goodbye to St. Croix before heading North for the summer season!
