Sienna Broglie
Sienna is an interdisciplinary artist, fabricator, mediocre cook, rock climber, funny friend, okay skiier, unabashed dancer, wilderness enthusiast, wild dreamer, embarrassed singer, and sailor. She is excited to be working as a deckhand educator for the Schooner Roseway. As a young individual entering the professional world, she is seeking opportunities for engagement with outdoor communities. While her trained expertise lies in the visual arts, her heart lives in the outdoors. Through a variety of seasonal/short term positions, she hopes to begin weaving a career path for herself that intersects the arts with the outdoor industry. Within these two passions, it is her long term goal to devise social engagement and alternative education for a community. She believes that her time with World Ocean School will better inform her skills as an outdoor educator and help prepare her for whatever lies ahead.
