Roseway is nearly 100 years old, and we want to continue her legacy for many years to come. That is why we have partnered with the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, CT. on a multi-million dollar, multi-year project to restore her.

This National Historic Landmark will be preserved according to the Secretary of the Interior’s standards and will comply with federal regulations for passanger-carrying vessals. It will be performed using traditional wooden vessal repair methods.

Shipwrights skilled in historic preservation will surgically deconstruct the vessal and put her back together stronger than ever. Much of this work will address structures such as the keel, futtocks and frames, most of which are original, dating back to 1925.

We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Mystic Seaport Museum to have Roseway as an educational exhibit at the museum until funds have been secured to begin her haul-out.
