1997
After captains Young and Sharp sold her, she continued in the tourist industry in Camden until the late 90s. Roseway was part of a fleet of windjammers for many years. After years on the water, the Coast Guard found some rot on her, and she could no longer take on passengers. By 1997, Roseway was granted National Historic Landmark status for her service during the war, as well as her uniqueness in American marine architecture.
