Joe is a litigator in the Complex Litigation practice group at Arent Fox LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. Joe graduated from Colgate University and received his law degree from George Washington University Law School with honors. Joe advises and represents clients in the areas of business litigation, employment disputes, insurance coverage, personal injury and probate litigation.
Prior to law school, Joe had been sailing maybe twice. However, during a BVI charter with six of his law school friends, Joe fell in love with sailing. He and two of his partners purchased their first boat, a Doug Peterson designed Show 34 after he relocated back to Boston. They now own Agora, a Beneteau First 36.7 that they race, with varying degrees of success, in the waters between Marblehead and Newport.
When it’s too cold to sail, Joe can often be found on the ski slopes in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. Joe has served in several capacities in his hometown of Swampscott, Massachusetts, including Chair of the Swampscott School Committee, Chair of the Swampscott Master Planning Committee and, most recently, chair of the Swampscott School Building Committee.
