Meet The Team

Hanna Hallendorff

Hanna was born in Minneapolis, but mostly grew up on the west coast of Sweden. She has been sailing with her family from a young age, and got in to tall ship sailing as a teenager, spending a few weeks every summer exploring Scandinavia and northern Scotland. She later attended a sailing high school in the northern archipelago of Gothenburg where she got to spend a few months every year studying and working aboard the school’s ship T/S Gunilla, which made her love for traditional sailing grow even more! After graduating she was then able to spend 4 months as a volunteer on another tall ship, chartering guests around the Caribbean and across the Atlantic.

Hanna enjoys working with youth in outdoor education and usually spends her summers in northern Minnesota working at an overnight summer camp. At the camp she is a dinghy sailing instructor and a wilderness trip guide, leading canoe trips to the Superior National Forest.

Other than being outdoors she is also very passionate about knitting, cooking and letter writing!
