1989

The Wisconsin Lakes Schooner Education Association convenes in 1989 to plan the Denis Sullivan to educate about Great Lakes schooners. After a visit from Pride of Baltimore II and realizing that no tall ships had regularly sailed in Milwaukee since 1930, the WLSEA gathered to plan the Denis Sullivan and how it would be built to represent Wisconsin and the Great Lakes.
