“We started off the day with using the motor to get to St. Thomas. Then we set sail and made our way to Francis. It was rocky, like moving side to side, but then it got calm and we had a swim call. But while we were swimming we saw Serenity: THE OPPS! It’s a boat that was like a big boat, like a yacht.
-Kenzey
At 10:00 we set sail to St. Thomas. Then we motored around St. Thomas looking for an anchor spot. The anchor spots were full so we sailed over to St. John (home) and we anchored in Francis. We did a swim call and jumped off the boat. For dinner we had pork, kale, potato, and Mac and cheese. Then Thomas put on Elizabeth’s bikini! He put it on and now we are going to start the boat Olympics. We also did rotations in the afternoon, but the waves were pretty big. But now see you later.
-Zoe
Today we sailed from Culebra back to the VI. It was all upwind so we mostly motored. The only time we sailed was from St. Thomas’s airport south and back again. There was heavy swell from the north so most people were a little seasick. In the afternoon, we started rotations and I got to steer at the helm. All the St. Thomas sites were full so we anchored at Francis Bay, St. John. It’s weird to be so close to home, but not going there yet.

My week has been very good. I like the crew, they are very nice and all the food was really good, thanks JAKE. I really appreciated Hanna for helping me with my bandage and all the crew checking on me, it was really lovely of them. They made me feel welcomed all the time. I liked sitting with the Captain as he steered the boat. I really enjoyed my week, thank you.
-Jayson
My week on the Denis Sullivan was pretty tiring. The food was really good and the crew members are very nice. Today was my birthday and it didn’t even feel like my birthday. I thought it would’ve been better but I guess it’s going to be just my 12th birthday. I’m going to miss being on the Denis Sullivan with the crew, be safe and thank you.
