Just a week ago, Roseway set sail from Christiansted Harbor, heading (ultimately) northbound toward Mystic, Connecticut, where she'll complete her spring 2021 yard period. After a very windy first day of sailing out of St. Croix, our crew (along with three top-notch volunteers) made a stop in Culebra, Puerto Rico to do some caulking.
The transit has progressed smoothly from there, with favorable conditions during the following days. Crew members have been fishing up a storm and hauled in a great big Mahi Mahi to eat for (several) dinners. Another dinner featured gyoza handmade by our awesome cook Ger, with the help of deckhands Elizabeth and Susanna. And at night, our crew have a sky full of stars to keep them company.
Roseway is now making her way up the Florida coast. Stay tuned for more updates as she continues her way north!
