It's officially cold here. In fact we think it feels like it could snow at any moment. But nothing like a dark north wind to concentrate the mind on heading south. Roseway left the shipyard three days ago and has been acclimating to being back in the water again. At home at our dock at the federal courthouse in Boston we are working to get all the final pieces in place for the journey south that begins November 10. Safety gear is being checked, rigging completed, sails bent on (including new mainsail), painting finished up, safety drills practiced, and crew training.
We're packing our days and taking in the last bit of city life before heading for our little island of St. Croix.
