After six days at sea, Roseway entered St. George's Harbor this morning. All 29 souls on board were excited to see the beautiful landscape of Bermuda come into view. The sail from St. Croix to Bermuda was benign and included a lot of motor-sailing as the wind was conspicuously absent.
Now with a few hours on shore to get ice cream, check email, air out damp clothes, and stretch legs, the crew and passengers are seeing what they can of this special place. By evening Roseway gets underway again to face the colder, rougher stretch of the trip. It's time to trade in the flip flops for the rubber boots and socks!
Look for Roseway's sails in Boston middle of next week.
