Watch A: Dana, Gillian, Kane, Bryon
Did you know a seaport can be a huge outdoor museum? Well, Mystic Seaport is a museum. Mystic has a vast display of historic shops such as blacksmiths, woodworkers, and coopers from pre-industrial revolution era. It also contained houses that were transferred into mini museums like the figurehead house gallery and the maritime tattoo history parlor. We also saw 19th century square riggers and schooners and also set the square rigger's sails. Now we're all resting in a sea salt bay with old fashioned scenery.
We also learned to row the dory that we have on board around the harbor with Captain Tom and Nate.
The night ended with a live reading of Moby Dick aboard one of the schooners and another round of showers!
