Krystina Lincoln

Deckhand Educator

Hometown: Easton, MA

School: Williams College

Previous sailing experience: My first experience with tall ships was in 2015 as a student aboard the Robert C. Seamans, SEA class S261. After sailing between Hawaii and the Phoenix Islands, I stayed with the ship as a yardhand in Pago Pago for several weeks. Since graduating, I've spent the 2017 summer and fall seasons as an deckhand/educator intern aboard the schooner AJ Meerwald.

Previous teaching experience: I have taught video production and science education to elementary school students in Easton and Williamstown, MA. I also spent several semesters working as a Teaching Assistant for field and lab-based geology courses.

Hobbies: I enjoy hiking, laying in the grass, baking, rust busting, and looking at boats and rocks.

Why I’m excited to work for World Ocean School: World Ocean School combines my loves for sailing and education through dynamic and high impact programming, and I'm energized to be a part of the team. Sailing on tall ships has a unique way of helping all involved meet themselves and learn how they can best support others in their community, even after leaving the vessel.
