Kirsten has traveled the world, lived and worked in China and Singapore, and has been living on her boat since 2013 with her husband. In all of her travels it was Boston where she found home. Kirsten attended Northeastern University where she completed her B.A. in Business Administration & Finance and then spent five years in the financial services industry honing her organizational skills and critical thinking.
Kirsten excelled in settling trades in a timely manner and communicating the health of portfolios to clients. Additionally, she worked with small groups to automate daily tasks and volunteered with US Bank’s program called New England Development Network (NEDN). Within NEDN, Kirsten aided and led community outreach programs for her colleagues.
In 2015, Kirsten fulfilled a lifelong dream of sailing to the Caribbean and back. Now settled into her favorite marina in Boston, she is excited to be a part of the World Ocean School team and contribute to a great program for kids and young adults.
