Helene grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts, and spent her childhood enjoying the nature of Western Massachusetts. She is recently graduated from Simmons College, with a B.A. in Arts Administration and French. Throughout college she worked for various museums and non-profit organizations. At the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Helene worked in both the Education and the Volunteer & Community Engagement Departments. She assisted in school group visits and community art initiatives, and played a role in planning and executing many of the museum's large-scale community events. Helene has traveled and worked in Vietnam, Canada and France.
In her free time, Helene hikes with her dog, plans her future travel adventures, keeps up with Francophone culture, and is working towards her 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She is a NAUI-certified Advanced, Rescue and Master Diver, and used these certifications to aid in marine research in the Virgin Islands.
